The number for the new store is (773) 784-6922. Tomorrow's hours will be 9am-11pm.
We are told that a deal is imminent for the east retail space in the building, but no lease has been signed yet. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything definite.
Last year after Ross was announced as coming to our fine neighborhood I stopped in the one downtown at Wabash and Randolph. Reminded me of a smaller version of the Target on Logan Blvd in terms of signage and whatnot/whathaveu. Or at least how that Target used to look as I haven't been there in years.
ReplyDeleteIn any case I welcome it to the hood. Not as much as I've welcomed that new chocolate outlet near Target, but............belch.
It's nice to see more retail in Uptown. Something to go along with those new apartments being built all over da hood.
I hope it spurs other Newer retail to come to the block and maybe developers will tear down that block from Sunnyside/Sheridan and rebuild with newer retail.
