For those living near Clarendon and Irving Park, there's a new food shopping option. Lakeside Market opened recently in the former Sutcliffe Pharmacy storefront, which had been vacant since September 2013.
We didn't stop in, but talked to a few people who have shopped there, and they like it. Decent selection of food and liquors, including some craft beer, they say, and very clean. The hours are 9am-midnight Monday through Saturday, and 10am-10pm on Sunday.
There's an article in DNAinfo from a year ago about the owner, Nick Patel, and his vision for the store. We wish him much luck in this venture.
