Good Fences Make Good Neighbors

Envisions' Kathryn Kruger Center at 4919 N. Clark
News from the North Uptown Neighbors Block Club (NUNA):

"I'm delighted to share that Envision Unlimited was just awarded $750 from the Andersonville SSA to create a border fence for their therapeutic garden at the Kruger Center. This funding was matched by the kind folks at The Sofo Tap, located just next door.

Located at 4717 N. Clark, the Envision's Kruger Center serves as a day center for adults with autism and developmental disabilities. With a $5,000 grant from United Airlines, the North Uptown Neighbors Association (NUNA) turned an asphalt lot into a new green space back in 2014.

Since that time, the garden has suffered from dog and human foot traffic. The funds from the SSA and The Sofo Tap will allow NUNA and Envision to install a border fence to help protect the plants for the clients to tend and enjoy. Many thanks to our generous neighbors for their help!"
