Next Wednesday (November 2) through Saturday (November 6), Wilson Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between Broadway and Clifton between the hours of 6am and 5pm.
This is for "Caisson Activity." (As part of the Wilson Red Line Learning Curve, we now know that caissons are support structures put into the ground to bear the weight of the columns that will hold up the new tracks.)
Pedestrians will still have access to the sidewalks, and the #78 bus will have its usual reroute. "Eastbound buses will operate via Clark, Lawrence, and Broadway, then resume their normal route on Wilson. Westbound buses will operate via Broadway, Lawrence, and Clark to Wilson, then continue their normal route on Clark."
