Buena Park Circle Is Ready For Some Love! Tree Planting & Grand Re-Opening

Rendering of new Buena Circle Playlot
Celebrate the new! After most of the trees had to be cut down due to the emerald ash borer infestation, and after the playlot equipment was removed for the purpose of being updated, the popular park at Kenmore and Buena was in sad shape.

But all that's about to change. The new playlot is in place, new trees are about to be planted, and Buena Park Neighbors is throwing a party to celebrate the transformation.
  • You're Invited To Help Plant New Trees! On Wednesday, October 19th, volunteers are invited to help plant new trees in the Circle. Funding was obtained from an open lands tree grant. How can you help? Show up between 9am and 1pm.
  • Celebrate At A Family Open House! On Sunday, October 23rd, join your neighbors at the newly planted and renovated Circle. At 2pm, come celebrate the grand re-opening. Check out the new playground equipment, welcome the new trees, dance to the tunes of Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band The Wall of Denial or graze at one of our food trucks.  As always at our Park Concert events, bring chairs or blankets – weather permitting.
Save the Dates (info coming)
  • Buena Park Parents Meet and Greet is Saturday, October 29, 9:30amto 11:30am, Uptown Library. It will have a Halloween theme.
  • The much-loved Boo-ena Park Neighbors Safe Trick or Treating will once again take place on October 31st between 6pm and 8pm
