4th Annual CityMade Fest Takes Place This Weekend On Clark Street

If you thought that the neighborhood festival season was over, no, no, no! This weekend will see the 4th Annual CityMade Fest on Clark Street between Argyle and Carmen, taking place on Saturday and Sunday between noon and 9pm each day. There will be an artisan vendor marketplace, craft beer, food, and music celebrating all things local.

Come enjoy the wonderful late-summer weather and celebrate local businesses and individuals.

Restaurants involved in the fest include Chicago classics such as Giordano's and Quang Noodle, and craft beers from Chicago breweries like Half Acre and Revolution. The fest also highlights vendors from the Chicago area, with an artisanal market featuring handmade jewelry, body oils and even spices, all sourced from and made in Chicago.

The entertainment also draws from the community and showcases a variety of Chicago-based burlesque performers, musical acts and DJs including VAUDEZILLA! Burlesque Cabaret, Yoko and the Oh No's, and Light Em Up.

The proceeds from the fest will go in to support Eco-Andersonville, a 501(c)3 non-profit initiative of the Andersonville Sustainable Community Alliance that has been working on bike corrals, people spots, on-street recycling, neighborhood composting and solar energy. More information can be found here, including a complete list of vendors and the entertainment schedule.
