CAPS Meeting This Week Re Theft; Timely After Daytime Gunpoint Mugging

A reminder that the CAPS meeting for Beat 1915 will take place on Thursday, April 7th, at 6:30pm at The Shift, 4101 North Broadway. The topic will be "General Theft" and it's a timely one, as there was a mugging at gunpoint this weekend near Marine Drive and Junior Terrace, in which a woman walking down the street was held up by at least two assailants who were driving by in a van and stopped to accost her. This happened at 11am. If you are concerned about street crimes like this, please attend this meeting and hear what the police have to say.
