CTA Keeps On Installing New Track, Closures Continue

As CTA workers continue toward their goal of having trains running on the new Red Line tracks by March, we are informed of a few more closures in the upcoming week:

• Wilson Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9am and 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as they install a sound wall and temporary heat for the workers. Pedestrians will still have access.
• The overnight closures of Broadway between Wilson and Leland will continue through the end of the month, between 9pm and 4am.
