Each Saturday this month, one of our Uptown favorites, La Ciudad (at 4515 N Sheridan) will celebrate Las Posadas, the traditional Mexican Advent observance. We can't promise that they'll have a star-shaped pinata, but they will have music and Mexican ponche (hot mulled wine). Sounds like a good way to take the chill off these December evenings.
It's also time to start thinking about New Year's Eve. "Dancing. Music. Special menu items. Champagne Toast at Midnight. Reserve your table today!"
A reminder that La Ciudad is BYOB. If you bring tequila, they will mix up a tasty pitcher of margaritas for you.
