La Ciudad Requests Your Help To Feed The Homeless On December 24th

Last Christmas Eve, La Ciudad Mexican Café and Grill (4515 N Sheridan) opened its doors and served a noontime meal to more than 100 homeless men, women and children. There was food, music, dancing, and gifts, a little Christmas cheer from owner Hugo De La Rosa and his staff to those who might not have much to celebrate during the holidays.

This year the self-proclaimed "Hidden Gem of Uptown" will be doing it again on Wednesday, December 24th, from noon to 3pm and they are looking for help to put the event together. If you are able to help them spread the gift of giving, you are needed! They are looking for people and community partners who can provide their time, and/or money, and/or goods to make this event come together.

More information about La Ciudad Mexican Café and Grill and the 2nd Annual Feed The Homeless Event can be found by calling 773-728-2887 or by visiting www.laciudadgrill.com. Thank you for your generosity.
