First Ascent Bouldering Gym Set To Open Saturday

More than four and a half years after Borders closed up shop at 4718 North Broadway, there's a new tenant on the second floor, and they'd love to have you stop by and check them out. First Ascent, a bouldering, fitness and yoga gym, will officially open its doors on Saturday, the day after Christmas. You can get a sneak peek tonight and Wednesday with a free hard hat tour (register here).

According to First Ascent's Facebook page, "First Ascent: Uptown will open Saturday December 26th! Join us to crush some boulders from 10:00a - 8:00p. After that, our hours will be as follows:

• Sunday 12/27 10:00a - 8:00p
• Monday 12/28 6:00a - 11:00p
• Tuesday 12/29 11:00a - 11:00p
• Wednesday 12/30 6:00a - 11:00p
• Thursday 12/31 10:00a - 3:00p
• Friday 1/1 CLOSED

Normal Hours will pick up on Saturday 1/2:

• Mondays 6:00a - 11:00p
• Tuesdays 11:00a - 11:00p
• Wednesdays 6:00a - 11:00p
• Thursdays 11:00a - 11:00p
• Fridays 11:00a - 11:00p
• Saturdays 10:00a - 8:00p
• Sundays 10:00a - 8:00p"
