With snow in the forecast, and FM stations already playing 24/7 Christmas music, many readers are already thinking about sending holiday greetings. As in years past, we hope you consider getting your cards from one of Uptown's best-regarded non-profit organizations, Inspiration Corporation, which provides services for individuals and families dealing with homelessness and poverty.

While Inspiration offer services all over the city, it was founded in Uptown and maintains its main office and wonderful restaurant, Inspiration Kitchens, here.  It sells holiday cards every year to support its fine programs, each year featuring a new cool design and success stories from its clientèle.
