Three photos shot from the same vantage point (in front of Viet Bowl on Wilson) show the changing scene and the progress made on the new Wilson tracks. One crumbling concrete bridge, gone. One modern metal span to replace it, underway. And a truck named "Steven" photobombing.
Wow, that is a very impressive succession of photos! With the blight of the old el tracks gone, and Schiller gone, maybe Uptown can finally recover to some semblance of what it was when the Uptown Theater, Aragon Ballroom, luxury hotels, and so forth, were built.
