Artists & Musicians Sought For Sunnyside Mall Fest


CALL TO ARTISTS

3rd Annual Sunnyside Mall Art and Music Festival


DATE AND TIME : Saturday, August 1, 2015 – 9am to 3pm

WORK MEDIA:
  • Local artists to sell work – jewelry, paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, etc.
  • Musicians – play music for an hour throughout the event – 5 slots available.
SPACE:  Each artist will have an approximately 8’ x 8’ spot along the north or south sides of Sunnyside Mall between Magnolia Avenue and Beacon Street.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • All work must be handmade by vendor.
  • Artist must bring own tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
  • Artists to arrive no earlier than 8am and set up by 8:45am. Artists to break down at 3pm and out of the mall by 4pm.
Cost is $20 for an 8’ x 8’ spot within the mall. The $20 fee will be invested into the rehabilitation of the Sunnyside Mall.  The cost in not tax deductible and will be collected the day of the fair by a Sunnyside Mall Committee Member.

    I do wish some of these festivals would take into consideration those of us who are not "crafts" people, don't make stuff.Don't draw art. But have very good items to sell.

      They do. Sheridan Park has an annual neighborhood yard sale where you can sell your very good stuff. It's usually in early August.

    Hmmm... sculpture... I wonder if they would permit a person to sell some carefully hand sculpted bongs. Among the requirements, they don't mention that it has to be legal...
