"Please mark your calendars for Sunday, February 15th at 2pm -- Treasures of Uptown: An Interfaith Action Coalition, will be hosting a free screening of the documentary, "Unlikely Friends," which tells the stories of individuals who were the victims of brutal crimes and, through forgiveness, become friends with their perpetrators.
We have been spreading the word to local programs and organizations, and are looking forward to a diverse and engaging discussion following the film. The event will be held at the Buddhist Temple of Chicago, and refreshments will be served!
