Snow Update From Ald. Cappleman

"At this time, snow plows and salt spreaders have cleared all arterial routes and most of the side streets are clear as well. If your street is not clear yet, please look at the plow tracker or contact our office. Plow trucks are still out clearing streets and will be throughout the evening until they are all completed. Your patience during this time is greatly appreciated. Additionally, CPS schools will be open tomorrow.

Thank you to all of the residents and businesses that have not only cleared your own area, but have taken the time to help a neighbor. Please check on the well-being of family, friends, and neighbors. As I mentioned before, Chicago is strongest when people, government and businesses work together. Chicago Shovels is a tool to help connect the public with City winter resources and empower neighbors to come together to help Chicago navigate winter. To learn more, click here. As you know, this storm was the fifth worst in Chicago's history and I'd like to thank the Streets and Sanitation staff that has been working around the clock since Saturday night to keep the city moving.

As your alderman, I remain available to answer any of your questions or concerns. Feel free to call my office at 773-878-4646, email at james@james46.org, or stop by my office during open office hours every Monday from 5pm - 7pm."

  1. What a joke Cappleman is, He puts notices out that all the streets have been plowed. Almost all the side streets in Uptown haven't even been touched.

Maybe people will finally realize this guys is a big liar
