This Saturday evening, between 5 and 8pm, the Uptown Arts Center will hold an opening reception for its newest show, Mysteries & Loves: transcending emptiness. Featuring the paintings and works on paper of artists Mariusz Zaleski and UAC founder Colette Wright Adams, the show runs through February 28th. Gallery hours are Saturdays from 3-5pm, and Sundays from 1-4pm. The Uptown Arts Center is located in the Preston Bradley Center, 941 West Lawrence, on the 4th Floor.
