Paper Machete, the fun, free and fabulous "live magazine" that struts its stuff every Saturday at the Green Mill (4802 N Broadway), is celebrating its fifth anniversary this Saturday and creator Christopher Piatt (pictured right) says, "This weekend's anniversary show features mostly long-time Machete veterans, and I expect it's going to be very special afternoon."

Chili Cookoff at Crew next door, featuring Uptown's own Wayne Johnson, which takes place from noon to 2:30. Then cool off next door at the Green Mill, helping Paper Machete celebrate their anniversary.
