Learn "Stories of Afghanistan" From Humanitarian Photographer Ivan Lo

We've posted before about Uptowner Ivan Lo, who goes overseas to take photos and document the conditions in which people are living in war-torn countries.  He has most recently been in Afghanistan on a humanitarian mission, where he took plenty of photos showing what life is like for ordinary Afghanis.

He will speak about "Stories of Afghanistan" at the Bezazian Library on Saturday, August 16th, at 2pm. If you are interested in learning what it's like to be a normal person who's experiencing a war fought in your homeland, please plan on attending.  Ivan will also discuss the three humanitarian missions he has been on during the past eight years.

If you can't wait, his photos are on display at the library from now until the end of August.  You can see and learn more at his website.
