Kids Corner At Buena Park Open Day

Buena Park Open Day is open for children as well as adults.

• The Children's Corner will be at Buena and Clarendon. It will be going full swing with chalk drawing on the sidewalk, bubble machines, face painting, a cupcake food truck, hula hoop dancing, and a bounce house, between noon and 5pm
• Right across the street, there will be Story Times in the Smart Love Preschool Garden between 1pm and 3pm with special surprise guest story readers.  Who will they be?  You'll have to show up to find out.
• Curious Creatures pet shop will be in the Children's Corner between 1pm and 3pm for a Reptile Extravanaganza!  Come see and find out more about tortoises, snakes and lizards.
• The Friends of the 46th Ward Schools will be there collecting donations for school supplies for kids who attend public schools in the 46th Ward whose families can't afford to send them to school with a full supply of necessities.  Your donations help them keep pace with the rest of their class and relieve the burden of buying out-of-pocket supplies on their teachers.
