Untimely Passings

Two sad occurrences in the past days:

• On Thursday morning, the body of 28-year-old Nathan Breitling was found in the alley behind the 4200 block of Kenmore, under the L tracks.  He was a resident of Palatine, and was a writer/poet and former instructor at Columbia College. No signs of trauma were found on his body.  
• Early Saturday evening, a woman was pulled from the lake at Montrose Harbor and taken to Weiss Hospital, where she passed.  She has not yet been identified.  Update:  She was later identified as Caroline Heider of Lincolnwood.

Their friends and families are in our thoughts.
