The Pivot Arts Festival Begins In Uptown Tonight

The Pivot Arts Festival, which plays in Uptown, Edgewater and Rogers Park from May 28 through June 15th, begins its Uptown activities tonight.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Alternatives presents two original plays about the politics of eating and hunger, called Worthy and We Gotta Eat.

Saturday is The Acoustics of House, including a salute to Frankie Knuckles, at the Wilson Avenue Theater, right next to Sonic.

Next Saturday is a Chicago Architecture Foundation walking tour of historic Uptown.
