A note from the Uptown Chicago Commission: "Positive Loitering will resume tonight at the southeast corner of Broadway and Wilson, near the currency exchange, from 7PM to 8PM. This begins the fifth year that community members have stood at trouble spots in the 19th District on Friday evenings.
Please join your neighbors for an hour this evening from 7-8pm. Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring your dog! The event is being sponsored by the Uptown Chicago Commission and all are welcome to attend.
The 19th District Police are aware of and encourage our efforts. As always, they will stand with us and/or drive past our location every few minutes to lend support."
