CAPS Beat Meeting 1914 Tonight

For the first time in 2014, there will be a CAPS meeting for Beat 1914.  Wind chills of -40 (in January) and the state holiday commemorating Lincoln's Birthday (in February) forced the cancellation of the past two meetings, but they are on for tonight!

If you live in the area bordered by Broadway, Lawrence, Montrose and the lake, this is your beat.  The meeting will be held at 7pm at Clarendon Park Fieldhouse, 4501 North Clarendon (at Sunnyside).

Amy, the co-facilitator of the meeting, says, "The monthly CAPS meeting is your opportunity to talk with the police officers who work in our community, with your neighbors, and with representatives from the Alderman's office and other community organizations about public safety issues. We work towards constructive solutions to chronic public safety concerns that affect everyone in the neighborhood."
