Help Plan Broadway's Future

From Ald. Cappleman's latest newsletter:

The City's Dept. of Planning and Development is sponsoring a public meeting to discuss the North Broadway Plan, which will look at improving transportation and economic development along the Broadway corridor from Devon Avenue to Montrose. The goal is to create a plan that will encourage sustainable development and improve transportation mobility for drivers, bicyclists, transit users, and pedestrians. For more information, click here.

We're seeing a wonderful surge of strong economic development in our Ward, so your input is needed to make sure we move forward in a way that benefits the entire community. Hope to see you there!

When: Thursday, March 6 from 6:30pm - 8pm
Where: Edgewater Library, 6000 N. Broadway

  1. Speaking of Broadway's future in about 80 minutes or so the Denice Davis campaign will hold a fundraiser at El Mariachi on Broadway. I rented a discreet surveillance car and will be sitting across the street making note of the comings and goings of our leftist betters. Uptown Past meets Uptown Future...........my codename for this operation is Oscar Meyer!

Stop by and say hello and grab a wiener or two.
