Winter Blues

For a few minutes this morning, the sun was out over Montrose Harbor and it was a truly spectacular sight.  There were a few ice fishermen trying their luck, but the sun proved to be too much for their safety and they left.  You can see some of the holes they drilled in the center of the picture above, where in a few months boats will be making their way from the harbor to the lake.  One thing about Chicagoans -- we really do know how to appreciate our lakefront, no matter the weather.
