Uptown United has a still-growing photo album on
its Facebook page of various events happening around Uptown as part of the Edge-UP arts festival going on all weekend. Here the Lawrence L underpass gets some love. The caption reads: "
Beginning of a new mural at the Lawrence El Station... calligraphic "fingerpainting" to come."
These murals are good because it reduces the garbage put up by "taggers" & gangsters. They seem to respect these murals & will go elsewhere.
