Positive Loitering Tonight, 7pm-8pm

from the Uptown Chicago Commission:

Positive Loitering has resumed on Friday evenings in the 19th District.  Please join your neighbors for an hour this evening from 7-8 pm, at the southwest corner of Lawrence and Sheridan. Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring your dog!  The event is being sponsored by the Uptown Chicago Commission and all are welcome to attend. As always, the Police are aware of and encourage our efforts, and there will be a police officer with us for the duration.

  1. Looks like the positive loitering started a little bit too late and a little too far north. Shots fired around Sunnyside and Sheridan about 5:15-ish.

  2. Unknown, instead of complaining, why don't you organize positive loitering on that corner next week?

  3. and by 615 all was clear and not a sign of any issues or problems. Are there any more details? Don't tell us that things are getting better in Uptown and keep covering up the issues, the police and alderman need to tell us the truth of what is happening and how they are going to fix it.

  4. Here's how we're going to fix the problem: Step 1: steal underwear. Step 2: [unknown]. Step 3: fix all crime in Uptown.
