Transition Plans For Merging Uptown Schools

Friends of the 46th Ward Schools have passed along CPS's plans for transitioning students based on the school closings announced yesterday:

"Here are links to the drafts of the transition plans for the 46th Ward schools.  They are very boilerplate, but may answer some questions for people.

They also list the upcoming community input meetings that I would encourage people to attend.  

Of particular interest to readers may be the fact that Courtenay will take on Stockton's attendance boundary and become a neighborhood school rather than a magnet school.
