Important Meetings Tonight

There are just some nights that the schedulers like a lot, and tonight is one of them:
  • 19th District Court Advocates will meet an hour earlier than usual, at 5pm, at the Town Hall police station, 850 W Addison.
  • Between 7-9pm, CPS's School Utilization Committee will hold a meeting to get feedback about possible school closures with concerned citizens.  Support Stockton School says:  "I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for us to have a large turnout. Bring family, friends, children, neighbors, and anyone else you know. Also, be sure to WEAR STOCKTON BLUE (navy) so that it is obvious why you are present. We have come so far, but we aren’t done yet. Thank you so much for showing your support for Stockton School!"  The meeting will be held at Truman College, 1145 W Wilson.
  • At 7pm, the 46th Ward Zoning and Development Committee will meet with JDL to review the latest proposal for the former Maryville site, and ask questions.  According to the 46th Ward's newsletter, "The public is also encouraged to attend this meeting in the hospital's auditorium as room allows."  The meeting will be in the Weiss Hospital auditorium, 4646 N Marine.
