BPN Annual Meeting On Monday

From BPN's January newsletter:

"Buena Park Neighbors is holding its annual meeting and election of officers on Monday, January 14th at 7pm at Thorek Memorial Hospital (come in main entrance and follow signs).  We will have presentations from Alderman James Cappleman and County Commissioner Bridget Gainer.  Bill Petty, president of BPN will also be speaking.

There are a lot of exciting things going on in the neighborhood and you won't want to miss this important meeting.  Come on out, meet your neighbors and find out what is going on in Buena Park."

  1. IS anyone running that was on the BPN Board when it accepted $5,000 from Thorek Hospital right before Thorek knocked down an entire city block at Irving and Sheridan.. and NO ONE from the BPN Board thought it appropriate to challenge it? It is a beautiful weedfilled, grafitti walled, mismatched iron fence mess now with Thorek having no plans at this time to do anything with it... LOL

GOOD job BPN Board... for $5k, all of Uptown now has an eyesore for years to come...

  2. Dude, you seriously need to give up the ghost on that. You have absolutely NO IDEA what you're talking about. The BPN board committed many several voluntary hours to putting together a proposal and presenting to committees at Thorek so that there would be something else on that land. Thorek, retaining its right to do as it pleases with its own land, denied their proposals.

And WTF are you insinuating exactly about the $5k contribution? That board members purchased second homes on the French Riviera while selling all us chumps short and refusing to filibuster Thorek's evil empire plans?

You are a whack-job of the first degree. I'm seriously tired of hearing you spout your unfounded conspiracy theories and complaining about ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING everyone does, ever. Grow up.
