"Goodbye 145, we hardly knew thee. Oh wait...just kidding.
we all knew thee VERY well, as seen in the high ridership numbers."

"What this should say: Why are we making these changes?
To better screw the customers who need us the most"

I emailed a rep from the CTA and received back a form letter about the Lawrence & Montrose buses being "an 1/8 of a mile away."
ReplyDeleteThat's all well and good, but they don't get me downtown, do they?
I just don't understand how they can be pouring money into the Uptown area, and then take away one of the best parts of living there-- I had a bus that picked me up in front of my building and dropped me off in front of my work building. As a former leasing agent, that was a huge selling point for the area, especially for those who weren't sure about going North of Irving Park Rd.
Why is the 148 not bolded like the other routes? I thought they were supposed to increase its frequency to offset the loss of the 144?
ReplyDeleteStill saw people waiting for the 145 today on Claredon. Guess they're in for a looooonng wait
