End Your Weekend At The Green Mill

The local new music ensemble Anaphora will be performing at The Green Mill this Sunday, November 25 at 2PM. The concert is called "Sounds of Chicago" and features all contemporary Chicago composers (each of whom will be in attendance) and three local premieres.

  • WORLD PREMIERE/Sarah J. Ritch commission
  • MIDWEST PREMIERE/Marcos Balter's "à vis" for clarinet and violin
  • PREMIERE IN ITS ENTIRETY/George Flynn's "Three Diversions" for woodwind quintet
  • Seth Boustead's "Dissonance Still Talking"
  • Ilya Levinson's "Shadows" based on sculptures of Herbert George
