The Green Green Grass In The Middle Of The Street

The parklets of Andersonville have nothing on Uptown this Saturday:  How about the 800 block of Agatite turning into a grassy park for the CPNA Block Party?

The weather is supposed to be outstanding, in the low 70s, with lots of sunshine. CPNA would like you to know:

"We will again feature the lovely grassy street (thanks to the generosity of Central Sod Farms!) that we had last year. And, similar to last year, neighbors are invited to roll up the sod at the end of the night (around 10pm, after the last band) and take it home with them for their yards, lawns, and parkways. Neighborhood beautification! (I really want to make sure that the sod gets picked up)

In addition, we have a terrific raffle featuring neighborhood businesses and services, among many other thrilling activities for kids, adults, and dogs!"

It all starts at 1pm and goes until the last band finishes its set at 10pm.  See the poster for more details.
