Help The Creators Of Chicago Book Expo Win $1500

Remember the Chicago Book Expo last November, the book fair that turned the basement of the Uptown Broadway Building into a speakeasy, re-opened Borders for a weekend, and showed a Charlie Chaplin film at the location where it was shot, the old Essanay Studios on Argyle?

Rumor has it that it's coming back in November, bigger and better.

In the meantime, you can help out the creators of the Book Expo -- Chicago Writers House -- by voting for them in an online competition to find the best "placemaker," someone who has "most creatively transformed a vacant lot or building into a vibrant community place."

It couldn't be easier -- no registration, just vote once.  Go here to cast your vote, and help Chicago Writers House win $1500.  Your help is most appreciated.
