The CTA is looking for artists to decorate the seven Red Line stations which are now or which will soon be undergoing renovations, including Lawrence and Argyle in Uptown. RedEye has an article with all the details, which can be found here. There are going to be two public meetings for interested parties: 6:30 p.m., Sept. 18, at the Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway; and 7 p.m., Sept. 20, at United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse Ave.
We're still pissed about them cutting our bus lines, though.
