Civilly United

Not only is Ald. Cappleman a civil servant, now he's civilly united as well. Congrats to James and his long-time partner, Richard Thale, who entered into a civil union today. Glad you could make it legal at long last, fellas.

Rep. Greg Harris, sponsor of The Illinois Religious Freedom Protection & Civil Union Act, was very fittingly a guest at the ceremony.

  2. Congrats. This calls for an obligatory IrishPirate internet musical interlude.

Ya just got to love America. We got Springsteen playing at Wrigley, gay couples getting married, Obama rising in the polls, Bill Clinton just rising, The White Sox are in first place, The Cubs aren't in last place(Hey it's something), we're out of Iraq and Paul Ryan ran a 2 hour and 150 minute marathon.

God Bless America and congrats to Richard and James. I hope they have many more happy years together.

  3. Congrats!

My solution to the whole gay marriage thing is to eliminate marriage all together. Everybody should be Civil Unionized as far as the state is concerned.

Get married in your church! What do you think?
