  1. I don't know the history of this photo but it doesn't seem so sad. A fire station is there to protect the neighborhood...although if that was a bar it looks like it was a fun space. Cool building though..I'm guessing that is what you found sad.

  2. They took this photo in front of the old Wooden Nickel...present dday Jimmy johns..

  3. The Wooden Nickel was where Nick's on Wilson was further east - not in the present day Jimmy Johns.

  4. Ahhh, love the Hamm's. My uncle who lived in Wautoma, WI was the distributor for Hamm's and Chief Oshkosh beers. As kids we were always taking swigs from the bottles.
