- Baker & Nosh, at 1303 West Wilson, isn't on the Parade route, but they want to make sure everyone has a good time. "Baker & Nosh, along with La Colombe, will be offering free coffee to everyone on Sunday, June 24 from 8:00am till 11:30am. This is our way to not only support the Pride Parade participants & spectators, but also a great way to give back to the community that has shown us such an amazing amount of support. Also, for those who have not yet tried our coffee, now is your chance to give it a try.... we promise you won't be disappointed!" You can follow B&N on Facebook at www.facebook.com/bakerandnosh and La Colombe at http://lacolombe.wordpress.com. Be sure to try some of B&N's wonderful pastries while you're there! Deliciousness...
- The Spot is handily located right at the beginning of the parade route, at 4437 North Broadway. They're opening at 9am on Sunday, so get there early for an up-close-and-personal view of "ALL the Floats, ALL the People, and ALL the Craziness that will Ensue..."
- If you'd like to march in the parade with Ald. Harry Osterman, meet his contingent on Sunday in the staging area. He is entrant #55.
- Be sure to check out Uptown Proud for more specials and events.
