A reader sent in this photo and says: "Tree planting across from Weiss! Yea! Looks to be at least 30 new trees. Nothing new has been planted here in over 25 years so very exciting!"
This is great... the 46th Ward has been ignored by the Park District the past 20 years.. nice to see someone has pushed some buttons and is starting to allow us to catch up. When you look at the wards to our direct North and South, we are like the poor neighbor in terms of trees, etc... Hope this continues, lots to do still!
