A reader sent in this photo and says: "A few days ago, this art appeared on the landing of the auxiliary entrance to the Wilson stop. I think it looks great, and it covers the formerly blank space where graffiti appeared on a daily basis!" We trust there are more improvements in store for the Wilson El and agree this is a good start.
Colourful it is...
ReplyDeleteSo THIS is where that $3 million for renovations went to.
ReplyDeleteIt was only a half milion $ per panel Bobcat.
ReplyDeleteWe still got $2,000,000 to play with!
It looks wonderful. There is always seedy looking characters loitering around the entrance of Wilson stop. I don't see the "you selling secrets" or "clam chowder" anymore at least. Remember those??
ReplyDeleteI'd personally love to see some new artwork at the Sheridan el. The current items/quotes are just downright depressing.
ReplyDeleteClam Chouder it was.
