Around 20 to 30 folks at Clarendon by the time 7:15 rolled around... Alderman Cappleman showed up a few minutes later and chatted with a group of the kids as well as some of the rest of us (we continued a conversation re the Wilson Station we'd started on Friday's positive loiter).
Rain clouds -- which did not actually deliver until later tonight -- probably had a lot of people scared off. But I was glad to see the police officers, who were wearing bullet proof vests on a 104 degree (w/ heat index) day, get a nice cool breeze.
I left a bit later... James was still there and hot dogs were still being consumed.
