Some really strong storms came through the Chicago area on Tuesday evening. Apparently, the company that installed the court-mandated scaffolding on the perimeter of the Lawrence House failed to secure the structure. The strong winds blew the scaffolding, along with brick and mortar debris, onto both Lawrence and Kenmore. At least one vehicle was damaged from the falling plywood.
Be careful when walking or driving around the Lawrence House as the unsecured scaffolding is a hazard to the neighborhood.
