Muy Misterioso

A reader writes:

"On the condition that I keep the name of the featured spot hush-hush, a reliable source has informed me that Uptowners should be encouraged to tune in and watch Chicago’s Best this Sunday night (May 22, 10pm, WGN) to see a great local spot featured during one of their segments of the “Best Mexican” episode."

Update:  Our reader says:  "Chicago’s Best is driven almost exclusively by viewer social media (primarily Facebook), so let’s encourage all the folks in the neighborhood to participate and encourage the show to feature Uptown locations."

  1. I wonder if this place is on Sheridan between Sunnyside and Wilton...

  2. I went to Fiesta Mexicana for the first time on Cinco de Mayo. Wasn't too hard to get a table. Excellent food! I have been to their Lincoln Park location before but they are more famous for accepting a napkin with a stick figure and a date on it as an ID.

I just figured this was a good place to talk about it :)

  4. While I've heard nothing but good things about Tiztal, I would be surprised if a restaurant that's closed for dinner was considered one of Chicago's best Mexican restaurants.
