Wine Tasting To Benefit 23rd District Police On Sunday

A reminder to show up Sunday at a Wine Tasting/ Fundraiser at the Sports Corner (Sheffield and Addison).  It runs from 2-5pm, and admission is $10.

The 23rd District Commander's Steering Committee is holding the fundraiser "to help enable the existing programs of the Committee.  The funds raised will be utilized

• for the holiday party for economically challenged children
• to purchase bikes and supplies for the police to use while on patrol
• to provide a breakfast to staff after the St. Jude parade in remembrance of fallen officers
• to purchase computer supplies for the police to use while on patrol
• and many more programs."
