Visiting The Jade Buddha

So the traffic barriers on Wilson were gone on Monday, and the ear-splitting live entertainment was, too, so we ventured to the Truc Lam Temple at Wilson and Ashland to visit the Jade Buddha.  It is stunning beautiful.  There were thousands of flowers, and a few worshippers lighting incense and kneeling to pray.  Visitors are welcome, since the Jade Buddha's mission is to promote universal peace, no matter what one's religion or politics are.  It's free (there's a donation box if you're so inclined), and it will only be here through Saturday, when it continues on its world tour.
