News From Alderman-Elect Cappleman

via Alderman-Elect James Cappleman's email to residents:

Friend,

We've been busy since our victory a week ago today.

I've been meeting with other elected officials, speaking with active community members, and listening to your comments on getting our Ward office up and running. The one thing that is consistent across all of these discussions is the need for community participation. I need your help.

In the coming weeks, I will be organizing transition teams to help make sure my staff and I are best prepared to represent you in City Hall. Each team will focus on issues that are most affecting our Ward. While the teams are still in formation, they will include crime, economic development, housing, parks, social services and land use. Moving forward with this process, I would appreciate your input. If you are interested in joining one of our transition teams or would like to offer advice, please send me a message at james46ward@gmail.com. Please add "TRANSITION" to the subject line of your email.

I am also working to finalize my Aldermanic office staff. I am considering potential candidates for full-time, part-time, and volunteer positions.  If you are interested in working in the 46th Ward office please send your resume and a brief email to james46ward@gmail.com. Please add "JOB" to the subject line of your email.

We are also working on my new aldermanic website which will be up and running shortly.

Thank you for your patience as I get my office up and running to represent you as your alderman May 16th.

Best,
James Cappleman
46th Ward Alderman-Elect

  1. What a great opportunity for people to get involved with the neighborhood and have their voices heard by the Alderman. Like so many other places in the City the 46th ward residents will finally have the opportunity to get involved with THEIR ward office.

Blot, don't rub. Club soda helps too.
