Not only will the incoming 46th Ward alderman be throwing a benefit concert at an Uptown concert hall on Friday, May 6th... but the outgoing 46th Ward alderman is having a 'do just around the corner at another Uptown concert hall at the very same time. The reader who sent this in says, "So, I just got this in the mail today from Citizens for Shiller. I was never a member, so I don't know how I got onto their mailing list..."
Geez, on the same day and time as James' event? Poor planning or passive aggressive? Either way that is lame. Maybe I'll go snag some 'complimentary' beer and then head over to the Riv
ReplyDeleteThis is a BYOB affair... "bring your own BAT"
ReplyDeleteI'm giggling at this.
ReplyDeleteTime to buy a ticket to the Capplemaniac event just to spite Shiller.
This is truly a perfect example of an individual with a personality disorder acting out in a Passive Aggressive Manner. Like so many people with dysfunctional personalities, other people might feel sorry for her, had she not repeatedly trampled on those same people through the years. At this point it is just sad.
ReplyDeleteI am just happy to see the Alderman Elect already working hard in the neighborhood working to right some of the wrongs that have taken place over the years. Not in office yet and already very hard at work. Things are not going to be perfect but much better for sure!
Shiller is even more pathetic than I had imagined possible.
ReplyDeleteShiller is EXACTLY as pathetic as I thought, BP... when one has zero expectations of class, one is never disappointed by Shiller and your minions... I am tempted to hang out across the street and take photos of who comes and goes to see who pays tribute to this walking disaster in our ward vs. who is supporting Cappleman and the change for the better...
ReplyDeleteI'm just going for the free beer...Shiller owes me at least that after having to put up with her nonsense these last 10 years I've lived in her ward...
ReplyDeleteI can only hope that she'll have metal detectors at the entrances. I guess it would be ironically appropriate if gunfire interrupted her party.
ReplyDeleteHelen who?
