If you've got ten minutes, can you help a UIC grad student out?
"My name is Kerry Olmsted and I'm a grad student studying public health at UIC. As part of a class, I am involved in doing a health assessment of the Uptown community. It's quite short (10 minutes or less) and would help us get a better understanding of some of the assets and problems of this community area from the point of view of the people who live there. I'm attaching a link to the survey if you are interested in participating. The deadline is April 7th." The link is here.
Just did the survey. My suggestion is: Leave politics out of the survey. Uptown is actually a nice urban hood, close to transportation, good restaurants and recreation. It is also diverse and interesting. People should really come visit us and see what a great hood it is!
