Police Announce DUI Strike Force Patrol In 20th & 24th Districts
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Foster (20th) District and the Rogers Park (24th) District. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 8:00p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011 and end at 4:00a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011.
The purpose of this program is to saturate a pre-designated area with roving police officers that continually monitor vehicular traffic for signs of impaired driving. Patrols also place emphasis on speed, alcohol-related and safety belt violations. Police vehicles equipped for speed detection are deployed to apprehend speeding violators.
In addition, the Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) Mobile Unit may also be deployed to allow officers to expedite the process of charging a person with Driving under the Influence (DUI) prior to transporting an alleged into the nearest lockup for bonding. The mobile unit also allows for Individual Recognizance Bonds (I-Bonds) to be issued at the site of the DUI Strike Force Patrol.

3/23/11 Trash Report for Winthrop from Lawrence to Leland.ReplyDelete
Not bad this week, just two trips to the corner trash can worth of stuff. The parking lot for aragon however has a whole lot of trash on the south side, didnt have it in me to pick all that up, but I picked up a couple phonebooks and glass bottles from there.
Chase at Winthrop and Lawrence, still not doing so great.
Their parking sign is still covered in graffiti, I let the bank teller know about it and got an awesome dirty look from a neigboring customer who I guess doesnt understand why thats something anyone should care about.
The teller said he will put in a work order to have it fixed up in a week. Okay we will see. If not I will have to see who else I need to talk too to get it fixed.
Will continue to ride herd on this Chase branch. A very weakly run branch from what Ive seen so far.
I havent had a chance but I am going to call in the Winthrop address of the vacant office in the same building where the graffiti is on the same chase building. Apparently the neigbors living about Chase are oblivious to such matter below......
how about a roving police force in uptown to keep these shootings from happening.ReplyDelete
